Our beautiful campsite is located in the stunning and peaceful Alentejo region, set on a charming 9-hectare plot of land with hundreds of holm oaks and half a hectare of centuries-old olive trees.
Surrounded by an authentic landscape with amazing views to the sun set, the campsite is very close to numerous sites of cultural and historical interest. Just 2 km walking distance you can visit the most well-preserved dolmen of the region and an old Roman bridge as well. The city of Elvas, declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO, is less than 20 km away and to the Spanish border around 30 km. Within a short distance, you can also walk to the beautiful village of Barbacena, where you can find several cafes, a restaurant, a bakery, a mini-market, and an ATM. This region is well known for its beautiful weather, peaceful atmosphere and extraordinary gastronomy, with a large selection of typical restaurants, as well as some of the most famous wineries of the country.
The campsite has an excellent access, just 150 m from the main road and about 13 km away from the highway to Lisbon-Spain.
Built from scratch just 6 years ago, our facilities are very well maintained and composed of the following main structures;

Main building with 118 m2, fully equipped, consisting of

Currently, our campsite has 14 large pitches for motorhomes and caravans and 6 pitches with plenty of shade for tents, but is licensed and prepared to have 30 pitches in total (of which 8 can be used for accommodation units) with a maximum of 90 people. All sites are supplied with 10 A of electricity.

Our outside area includes an above ground pool with 7,5 m diameter, a barbecue area and several chill-out areas.

All property furniture, equipment and maintenance tools, as well as a tractor and various implements are included in the sale.

There is also an enormous potential for development, as the 9 hectares are composed by two connected plots, one with 3 hectares and another with 6 hectares. The campsite is built and licensed on the 3 hectares plot. As such, it is still possible to use the 6 hectares plot for one of the following options:

. Expansion of the current campsite, offering the same possibilities as the existing one
or
. A glamping project
or
. The construction of a permanent residence for a farmer

Note that only one of the above 3 options is possible, as by law only one licence/use is permitted per plot of land.

The campsite has been operating since the beginning of March 2020. The occupancy rate has grown exponentially from year to year with an enormous acceptance by our customers as evidenced by the excellent reviews posted by them on Google and different camping advice sites.
